Title: Android Developer
Location: Seattle WA
Interview Process: Phone / In Person
Duration: 12-18 Months
Top Three Skills:
3+ years in native Android app development
5+ years in software engineering, preferably using Java
At least one app published in the Google Play Store, currently viewable to the public
· 5+ years prior professional experience in Software Engineering required
· 3+ years Android development experience required
· Track record of shipping numerous successful Android mobile applications to the Google Play Store
· Extensive knowledge of Java, XML, JSON, SQL/SqlLite, APIs and Android SDK required
· Deep understanding of memory management, file I/O, network programming, and multi-threading
· Must be an ambassador of test driven development, unit testing, pair programming and other Agile/Extreme Programming principals
· Confident in leading the team through architecture discussions, introducing new ideas and influencing the technical direction of the team
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Experience in establishing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments
· Experience in using UI automation tools like Espresso to reduce or eliminate manual testing
· Experience in programming in .NET/C# technologies a plus
