Position : ETL/Teradata Developer

Location : Richardson, TX

Duration : 12 Months  

Interview mode: Phone + Face to Face

Direct responsibility for the design, maintenance, and support of Data Warehouse Systems.

 

MUST HAVE:

• 5+ years advanced experience with Teradata (e.g., SQL, TPT, FastExport, compression)
• Experience in data warehousing/data mart environment
• Experience in data profiling, data analysis, data quality checking
• Verbal & written communication skills with both IT and business (who represent multiple levels within organization)
• Software development lifecycle process and the requirement to generate supporting artifacts for each phase
• Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects & prioritize correctly

 

NICE TO HAVE:

• PGP
• UNIX: For development of Kornshell scripts to execute Teradata BTEQ & UNIX functions (Data transformations are performed using SQL.)
• FTP
• Connect Direct
• ETL AscentialDataStage
• ZENA: For development of processes & scheduling
• Mainframe
• BTEQ
• Experience working in the health care industry
