Job Description:

Resource needs to know SQL Server (as least SQL Sever 2005). This resource will develop COGNOS reports using COGNOS 8.3 or higher. Includes Report Studio and Query Studio

The resources also need to have good report development problem solving skills using COGNOS 8.3 or higher Report Studio.

 

Additional Job Info:

 

Candidate will be responsible for the development Cognos 8 Reports, Dashboards and enhancements to existing reports. Effort will include working with team members and customers to define and document requirements and develop reports and dashboards based on discovery. Candidate will develop reports based on current standards and best practice. Candidate will be responsible documenting reports as part of the effort. Significant analytical skill as well as SQL is needed. This is not just a heads down report writer. Need to be able to communicate with other team members, and potentially with users. This won't be a position where they will sit back and wait for requirements to be handed to them.

 

Top 3 Skills (stack ranked): Cognos 8.3 OR higher (prefer some exp. with v 10), SQL Server, Report Studio

 

Interview Info (date, time, process, interviewers):1 phone interview, then 1 face To face interview, most likely later this week.
