Job Title: Lead Architect (Websphere Message Broker)

Job Title: Technical Lead / Developer (Websphere Portal)

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 3-6 months

 

Company is doing a migration from Vignette to Websphere Portal. In order to do so, they must upgrade Vignette, build out the Websphere framework, then complete the migration. This initiative is a part of a larger IT transformation within Company – the transformation is intended to truly utilize technology as the Business is also going through a transformation in efforts to improve the speed to market and accuracy of company's underwriting insurance capabilities.

 

Here are three positions:

 

For the two Senior Roles:

3 to 6 month contracts, could go longer based on other skill-sets, but not likely

Interviews could start week of 1/16/12

 

Job Title: Lead Architect (Websphere Message Broker)                                                                                   

 

Technical/Functional Skills: Websphere Message Broker 7, Java, XML, Web Services, MQ, ESQL.                                                                                                                      

 

Experience Required: 

Experience in developing solution using Websphere Message Broker 7

Experience with content Migration projects 

Good Knowledge Web Services using SOAP is mandatory.                                     

Worked with Websphere Application and Portal Server

Good ESQL & MQ knowledge is necessary.                                                                                          Performance Tuning  

Experience on Java, XSL, SOAP UI, XML, XSL, Database is added advantage.                        

Offshore Co-Ordination

Candidate should know concepts of ESB                                                                                               Deployment Checkout
