Job Title    :           Systems Analyst
Location    :           Windsor, CT
Duration    :           4 + Months
Rate          :            $50 /Hr

 

Desription :
Systems Analyst is an entry level position that acts as the driving force behind the monthly close activities. He/she is responsible for preparing for, monitoring, and reporting the close activities, as well as working with the proper

 

teams to resolve any issues that may occur during the close process.

 

Core responsibilities :
• Create run sheets, modify SQL/Unix scripts, and validate system integrity in preparation for the monthly close
• Work with business team to create a schedule for tasks to be executed during the monthly close
• Work closely with the Level 1 and Database support teams to execute the monthly close
• Ensure incoming and outgoing files are on time
• Communicate to the business team any delays that may occur during the close
• Resolve and document incidents that may occur during the close
• Maintain documentation used for training

 

Required Skills :
• 1+ year of COBOL, DB2, CICS

 

• 1+ years of Unix experience with basic user commands
• Experience with basic Oracle/SQL
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite
• 1+ years of experience in an IT support role
• 1+ years of Oracle/SQL experience
• 1+ years of Unix experience with advanced commands
• Experience with the Solaris operating system
• Experience in Unix Korn Shell scripting
• Experience with the AutoSys scheduling tool
• Experience with WinSCP or Hummingbird
• Healthcare experience helpful

 

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
