Very Urgent Requirement: "Java Architect" in Park Ridge, IL
Duration: 6+ Months
Job Description:
· Work with business teams in documenting/understanding the requirements
· Architect/Design and technically lead implementation of complex/scalable/secure Java/J2EE web applications
· Build prototypes to demonstrate concepts
· Provide thought leadership on technologies/tools to accelerate software development
· Ownership for Architecture/Design/Code reviews to ensure quality deliverables
· Assist development teams during the implementation phase in solving critical problems
· Defining standards/best practices for coding and ensure adherence to the same
Required Skills
· Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering
· 10+ years of professional experience in IT industry in a technical role
· 4+ years as a Technical Lead/Architect in J2EE space
· Excellent verbal, written communication and problem solving skills
· Experience developing scalable applications using J2EE, Spring, Struts, JEE6, EJB3, JPA, Hibernate or similar frameworks
· Proven experience building high-performance, multi-threaded applications
· Experience in integration technologies such as XML, JMS, SOAP, REST, etc
· Expertise in relational database design (Oracle, MySQL preferred)
