Location: Lawrence, KS
Duration: Long Term.

"12+ year of Java/J2EE application development and at least two enterprise class project architecture experience."

Job Description for their Java Developer position:

* Areas of emphasis - This is a heavy coding/development role in an Agile environment
- Opensource
- GUI Dev (JavaScript toolkits)
- Server Dev (J2EE,Spring,IoC,Services and WebServices, access)
- Unit Testing
- Portals
- Performant and Well written maintainable code
- Must be able to work at the command line AND in the IDE

1. JSP, Servlet, JDBC, J2EE, Maven, and SQL experience.
2. Developing web applications using SPRING framework (MVC, Persistence/Transactions, Core, Annotations & XML config).
3. Experience with ORM tools (prefer current MyBatis and Hibernate) / PostgreSQL, MySQL
4. Understanding and use of RDBMS transaction management and use in above tools.
5. Unit testing via Junit, cucumber, Spring, Ant, Maven (headless and in
IDE)
6. IDE use for development and testing : Eclipse, Maven/Ant, Netbeans + SVN & git
7. Experience using JavaScript libraries like JQuery, Yahoo YUI, DOJO or ExtJS
8. Experience in web technologies like CSS and HTML5 technologies.
9. Experience in developing high volume, high availability and clustered web application.
10. Experience in Tomcat utilizing Java 6.
11. Able to develop and work in at least two of: Windows, Linux (Debian/Ubuntu and/or RH/Centos), Mac OS-X

(Need Mid to expert level JQuery, Spring MVC and Hibernate/IBatis experience.)

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in Liferay Portal Experience
2. Experience in Portlet development experience
3. Experience with Continues Integration tools like Hudson/Jenkins
4. Large system development against PostgreSQL db.
