Here is a quick project description for background:

The Global Liquidity Engine ("GLE") concept was created to help position JPMC deliver forward looking products tailored to a client's liquidity management strategies.  The GLE provides a means to:

·         Respond to a rapidly changing regulatory environment

·         Optimize clients product portfolio in response to Basel III requirements and other market changes

·         Strengthen our global investment alternatives

·         Enhancing and extending clients product offering to support clients from a global perspective.

 

The GLE will contain a new suite of business services (global calculation and rules processing logic) integrating with and leveraging existing International and US Liquidity Applications.  The intent is for GLE to gather global client information (e.g. account balances or client rules) and leverage the existing back office to process on a global basis.  Clients intent is not to re-write the existing back office systems.

 

• Skills / Background
• Finance and/or Accounting Background is mandatory (or very mathematically minded). 
• This is critical as they will be helping to understand and define the financial calculations that drive the liquidity decisions. 
• The application being developed will be rewarding corporate clients for keeping their liquid asset with client and providing them "better" rates of return the longer they have their money with client.
• Good technical background to drive clear requirements to define the system
• Must be a strong  driver with some leadership background; would be ideal as they will continue to help drive and organize the project and people rolling on both onshore and offshore.
