Job Title: SAP FI-Lease Accounting Functional Consultant

Duration: 6+ Months Contract + Extendable
Job Responsibilities:
* Configuration of SAP FI-LA & FI-Assets module.
* Participates in business requirements analysis sessions & documents requirements
* Creates Functional Specification documents for any development work identified, including specifying at a table / field level of detail.
* Unit testing of solutions
* Integration testing of solutions
* Creation of test scenarios and upload of them to Mercury Quality Center
* Creation of all design documentation and proper filing of documents in all repositories (solution manager, SharePoint, etc.)
* Train & support the end users of the Leasing solution.
Technical Requirements:
*8+ years experience working directly with SAP FI
*Knowledge of Leasing functionality, specifically contract accounting (FI-CA) and Lease *Accounting (FI-LA)
*Business knowledge of Leasing classifications (operating, capital, etc.) and FAS 13 rules.
*Strong knowledge of Asset Accounting & Fixed Assets module.
*Knowledge of FI functions including New GL, Company Codes, Charts of Accounts, Fiscal Year *Variants, Document Posting, field status groups, etc.
*Experience with integration to other key FI areas such as AP, AR, AM, CO, SL (Special Ledger), etc.
*Experience designing and performing data conversions.
*Design experience in the FI / CO area including knowledge of specific tables, data elements
*Creation and management of transports, including log analysis and object analysis within the transport.
*Experience drawing requirements out of the business process experts
*Experience in all project phases (blueprint, design, realization, testing, implementation, support)
*Experience in using Solution Manager for business process documentation
*Experience using Mercury Quality Center for testing (FUT, UAT, Regression)
*Experience as a business user in the general accounting area a major plus
*Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or computer science.
Top 5 or Less Requirements:
FI-GL, Accrual Engine, FI-Assets, Strong ABAP knowledge
