description: 

• experience supporting ibm db2 luw in a production environment
• experience with data warehouse environments
• experience tuning sql, building/maintaining high performing structures, views
• strong familiarity with bi tools, query tools, and application appliances
• strong familiarity with industry-standard monitoring, backup, and security tools
• strong familiarity with unix/aix
• significant understanding of aix operating system
• experience with nas and san, database partitioning

common tools:

• ibm db2 v9.7 on aix platform, transitioning to v10
• ibm's wlm
• data studio 3.1
• quest toad (retiring)
• netezza
• common bi tools interfacing with warehouse:
• oracle bi
• sas bi

• microsoft bi
