This PAR is to request resources to fulfill needs within the Technical Engineering – Hosting Services team. Hosting Services is a team within the Technical Engineering organization that provides a single source from which high availability efforts can obtain technical infrastructure services.  Services, such as application hosting, data hosting, and communication hosting, will be coupled with monitoring and reporting capabilities.  Providing these services through a customer-centric interface will allow consumers to focus on their business goals as opposed to the infrastructure services needed to achieve those goals. Hosting Services is the "front door" to Technical Engineering. Hosting Services has three main areas of focus: governance, consulting, and the overall running "the business of" Technical Engineering.  Specifically, this PAR is for resources to fulfill consulting roles within the team.
 
Consultants provide the highest tier of technical architecture consulting to Delivery/Development teams. Involvement begins in the "pre-engagement" phase; the consultant would consult with the teams throughout the lifecycle to execution. Internally to Technical Engineering, these individuals provide feedback to Technical Engineering teams on capabilities and demand for capacity. Consultants would also be accountable for multiple segments of the infrastructure. 
 
In this role, sound technical skills are critical, as well as the ability to quickly build relationships and credibility with technical teams. Consultants must have excellent communication skills from both written- and verbal- perspectives. Individuals in this role should enjoy interacting with others, have a passion for technology, and enjoy multi-tasking and quickly adjusting to shifting priorities. Individuals should have experience working at large organizations and have a proven track record of experience.
 
Key technical skills/experiences are required in multiple areas. Candidates, while strengths may align primarily to application or infrastructure backgrounds, should have experience with a majority of the following:
