Position: Senior web developer

Location : New York City

F2F MANDATORY (Locals Preferred)

Position Summary:

• This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of internet products for high-traffic, consumer-facing digital properties with a focus on client-side development activities.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Client-side internet development

• Application development and integration of end-user digital products

• Responsible for analyzing assigned tasks, providing accurate work estimates, and managing own time to keep development on schedule

• Code and system documentation

• Partner with the business on product development and user interface design

Job Skills:

• Recent experience with HTML and jQuery are highly desirable. 

• Strong experience with HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, Ajax.

• Experience with JSON, XML, XSL are nice to have but not required

• Backend software development experience is a plus but not required.

• Strong overall technical skills

• Creative problem solving ability

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment and be adaptable to the demands of all levels and types of production duties

• Excellent communication skills

• Capable of understanding business objectives and able to translate business goals into technical design

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years experience in interactive web development

• Successful track record of internet development projects
