Position :System Engineer
Location :Lawrenceville, GA
Duration :6 Months+
Required Experience
· Possess at a minimum 7+ years of experience with Unix/Linux, Windows, Oracle, SQL, TCP/IP
· Possess a minimum 5+ years of experience with J2EE (install, config), and Web Services (Apache, Tomcat)
· Demonstrated background in the installation, integration and testing of software solutions in a systems engineering environment
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Commitment to superior customer service
· Ability to work well under pressure in order to meet customer service level agreements
Preferred Experience
Knowledge of Web services, mobile applications, Java-based head-end servers would be a plus
Role to be performed
· Design, build, install and configure systems based on customer requirements
· Integration with third party solutions into a customer's environment
· Become a technical expert in several complex Web-based mobile applications running on a UNIX and/or Wintel based platform and TCP/IP environment
· Collaborate with developers and architects to enhance Cisco products and services
· Support production and lab environments which includes installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring of Cisco products
· Domestic and international travel to customer sites will be required
· Able to be flexible for last minute and planned travel requirements, including after-hours support, weekends, and on-call work as required
