Location: Hillsboro, OR
Duration: 6 months

 

GC AND US Citizen.

 

 Git/Gerrit experience?

 

Level: 6 years of experience

 

Project Description:
Build and release engineer releases daily and weekly images on devices to the developer community. Release engineers approves changes to the build system, merging developer code into the build environment - expertise on the build tools gerrit, open build system (OBS), and Linux.

 

Daily Responsibilities: Releasing images, approving code changes, tool knowledge

 

Necessary Skills (Must Have):
Developer experience on the Linux operating system (C/C++, git, etc)
RPM packaging system
Scripting language - perl, python, BASH
Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):
Ruby on Rails, OpenSUSE Open Build system (OBS), Gerrit, Jenkins/Hudson
