Job Title: Unix Engineer
Location: Washington,DC
Duration: 6 months +

Status: ONLY EAD?GC OR US Cit

 

Rate :$50/hr on C2C.

 

Responsibilities of the UNIX Engineer:
Well versed with Solaris and Sparc servers.
Well versed with Linux ( Solaris is a must – Linux is optional)
Worked with LDOMs and Zones.
Shell scripting in UNIX.
Experience with WebLogic or other middleware.
Experience configuring Oracle Databases s preferred
Nagios or other monitoring tools experience is required.
Commvault backup experience is preferred.

 

Job will include managing Sparc servers, and many virtual environments built on the sparc servers.  It will also include maintaining and managing WebLogic, helping with deployments,

 

and other BAU (Business as Usual activities – such as backups, restores, building new servers, maintenance and data center activities).
