Job Title: ETL Infrastructure Systems Engineer
Location: San Antonio TX
Duration: 12 Months + extendable

Job Responsibilities:
Bachelors degree or 6+ years relevant work experience
4+ years of Data Warehousing experience coupled with in depth knowledge in ETL tools and infrastructure tasks (e.g. Linux server and storage layout, ETL software configuration and upgrades) in DataStage.
Unix shell scripting skills to ensure infrastructure stability through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, identifying, and implementing long term solutions
Good communication skills with the ability to facilitate interaction with organizational teams and vendors
Collaborate with support teams to recommend /resolve software, hardware, operational, and application problems through escalation
Develop strong partnerships and lead efforts across teams to promote re-use and develop consistent technical build, implementation and support processes

Preferred:
ETL design and development experience in DataStage and/or Informatica to trouble shoot infrastructure issues
Develop Enterprise monitoring for ETL/Data Integration tools
Develop best practices through collaboration across the organization and with vendors
Manage and direct high severity conference bridges and drive application, infrastructure, and vendor partners to problem resolution
Experience with licensing and versioning activities related to ETL suite of tools
Follow standard project management disciplines for all platform driven initiatives
RDBMS skills a plus
