The SharePoint Developer will participate in the design, development, customization
and integration efforts of enterprise solutions that take advantage of SharePoint
capabilities and facilities (Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content
Management, Business Process and Forms, and Business Intelligence). Development
platform will use SharePoint Server 2010, SharePoint Designer 2010, Nintex 2010
Workflows, Visual Studio 2010 and various other .NET components; back-end database
will be MS SQL.
The SharePoint Developer is expected to have extensive SharePoint Microsoft.NET
development experience - development, configuration and implementation of solutions
on enterprise initiatives. S/he should have a solid understanding of business workflows
and capabilities of SharePoint Server 2010, SharePoint Foundation 2010 including
Service Application architecture.
In addition, as a part of the Public Cloud initiative, UNDP is undergoing a procurement
process to select a service provider for email messaging, unified communications,
knowledge management platform and productivity tools. The selected candidate will be
also joining a transition team to provide engineering, troubleshooting, supporting of the
public cloud environment for Intranet. The SharePoint Developer is expected to support
the initiative to transition Intranet services to a public cloud computing environment
when it comes into effect. He/She will play a leading role to migrate both SharePoint
and legacy Intranet applications to cloud-based PaaS and SaaS products.
In addition, SharePoint knowledge should include an understanding of architectural
design, hands on Web Parts development, server installation, management and
troubleshooting with a focus on deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint
implementations. Knowledge of SharePoint 2013 and Microsoft 365 Cloud application
would be an asset.
Participate in the technical analysis and design
Assist in documenting the technical specification
Design and create custom SharePoint 2010 Workflows
Design and create document libraries
Design and create dashboards and excel reports on the SharePoint BI platforms
