Job Title : VMware Engineer
Location : San Diego, CA
Duration :6+ Months Contract

Rate : $45 on C2C/1099
The consultant's responsibilities involve the following:
Managing and enhancing a large VMware infrastructure
Testing and deploying new VMware products and solutions
Monitor and manage the availability, capacity and performance of the VM Infrastructure
Build and support virtual servers
Ability to lead a project when necessary
Excellent client interfacing experience - working closely with a client leading through each stage with weekly updates and challenges

In-depth technical knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in
VMware VSphere
VMware VCenter
VMware vDirector
VMware vCNS
VMware vOps

VMware vCNS
VMware vOps
Demonstrated proficiency in performance management and capacity management of virtualization infrastructure
Five (5) years of experience in a Windows (2003/2008) environment, installing and configuring servers and related products.
Similar experience with Linux environment is preferred but not required.
VCP 4 or VCP 5 Certification
Previous experience working with a Microsoft environment
Network Security experience - plus
IT Security general knowledge or experience - plus
Experience working in an Enterprise environment.
Demonstrates capacity for organization, prioritization, and management in a dynamically changing environment.
Demonstrated problem solving skills, strong conceptual and analytical skills.
Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
