Job Title : JavaScript Developer
Location : Richfield, MN
Duration : 3+ Months Contract
Rate : $50 on C2C

Must-haves
Extensive/in-depth JavaScript knowledge that goes beyond simple DOM manipulation with jQuery
Prior experience working to improve performance in non-trivial applications.
Prior exposure to an agile environment
Experience with JavaScript unit testing
Previous experience in a test driven development team
Strong personality, able to take initiative to ask question and make constant improvements.
Ability to communicate effectively with remote team members via various modes (Skype, gTalk, email).
Ability and strong desire to identify, recommend, and implement ideas to improve code quality within the team.
Ability to receive and provide critical feedback to team members about code quality

 

Plusses
Previous experience using the Angular toolset
PHP background
Experience with node.js
Experience integrating with external services via AJAX/REST

 

Day-to-Day
Assist in extending company's connectivity capabilities to support Home Connections: TV, Broadband, Voice and Home Security services. The core application supporting the business is a guided sales tool built using a REST Level 3 (Hypermedia) API. This is a cutting edge application architecture that supports multiple channels and clients without a significant re-investment in client logic.
Provide core JavaScript code to communicate with a Hypermedia API
Working with Angular toolset
Creating JavaScript unit test plans
