Role : Storage & Backup SME Consultant

 

Location : Warsaw, Indiana / Austin, Texas

 

JD:

Storage Activities:

- Vendor coordination

- Manage EMC storage products like EMC VMAX, NS-480, CX-4, VNX, Brocade (2nd Gen to latest)

- Manage EMC softwares like EMC Powerpath, Unisphere, etc

- Manage VMWare products, licenses, etc

- Manage EMC Recover Point Appliance for replication

- Provide approvals to T2 team on storage allocations/de-allocations

- Working with capacity management for procuring storage on right time

- Analysis of current storage environment

 

 

Backup Activities:

- Vendor coordination

- Working on vendor SOW

- Determining the policies

- Approving the CR technically

- Suggesting Policy modifications

- Backup supervision

- Knowledge on Networker and Avamar

- Manage EMC Data Protection Advisor for reporting
