Need: "Sr Oracle PL/SQL Developer" in Frederick MD

Duration: 18 Months

 

Description:

·         Minimum of 7 years' experience in ETL design/Data Warehouse development using PL/SQL ETL solutions

·         Experience with the party, party role and party relationship universal data model pattern

·         Very strong PL/SQL, UNIX, and Shell Scripting experience is a must.

·         Must be able to interpret the transformation rules and develop the software components to support the same.

·         Must have sound experience using databases such as Oracle, Teradata, DB2 or equivalent RDBMS.

·         Experience designing, documenting ETL and performance tuning

·         Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

·         Data Warehouse/ETL design and development methodologies knowledge and experience is preferred.

·         Experience with Medium/Large Data Warehouse updated in *Near Real Time*.

·         Involved in Data Mapping, Transformation and loading data in a complex and high-volume environment

·         Excellent analysis and problem solving skills.

·         Must work well in a collaborative, team environment as well as independently."

·         Experience developing in an Agile Scrum methodology

·         Proficient using SVN, or some other comparable source code conversion tool

 

"MUST HAVE" Qualifications

·         Demonstrated experience with scheduling and running multiple PL/SQL processes in parallel

·         Thorough understanding of Oracle 10g/11g features, Oracle development tools, SQL, Oracle SQL extensions and internal functions

·         Demonstrated experience in advanced PL/SQL techniques in the 11g environment

·         Demonstrated experience with parallel processing and exception handling

·         Demonstrated experience in SQL optimization and tuning of large queries

·         Demonstrated experience programming PL/SQL batch environment utilizing large tables and high transaction throughput requirements

·         Demonstrated experience using collections, bulk operations, and partition to increase performance
