Need EAD GC USC only.
A programming resource focused on SAP technical development who has successfully designed, deployed, and administered enterprise class SAP solutions.
This resource will participate in all phases of an enterprise implementation of new SAP functionality, and will help support the solution post-implementation, working with the hosting provider to implement enhancements, fixes, and upgrades. This is a highly visible technical position that requires the knowledge and hands-on support experience of enterprise-level software, the intricacies of system configuration and administration across an enterprise, capacity and throughput parameters, and business objectives.
It is expected that the person in this position will have the required comprehensive knowledge of SAP ABAP, PI and a business warehouse
Job Functions:
• The SAP programmer will participate in requirements gathering, design, testing, training, implementation, and post-implementation support of an enterprise implementations of SAP functionality.
• The programmer will work directly with SAP functional resources, business users, and the AMS partner to model, design, develop, test, and implement appropriate application solutions which may include any related or integrated modules and its team members. E.g. Finance, web, PPM, CLM, etc.
• Post implementation, the programmer will work directly with functional team and the hosting partner to design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements, fixes, upgrades, etc.
Ideal Candidate:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to succeed in this position.
• Has experience with development /debugging /documentation/ testing and deployment of complex interfaces, user exits and integration
• Hands on experience in workflow configuration and administration
• Having knowledge of the SAP functional modules is a plus
• Strong ability to work with third party SAP hosting and development providers.
• Demonstrated ability to serve as the liaison between business analysts and external development partners.
• Has both conceptual and hands-on experience in SAP workflow system design and workflow configuration
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Solid project planning and management skills along with the ability to estimate level of effort required to successfully deliver a solution.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts/theories.
Education Level and Years of Experience:
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related areas, applicable professional certification with 10+ years of progressive experience in IT industry is required. Masters degree will be preferred.
• 5+ years experience designing and supporting SAP technical areas.
• Demonstrated experience with SAP best practices. |
