Position: Software Engineer

Location: American Fork, UT

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Developing Enterprise applications written in the Python language
• Build HTML5/JavaScript based management UIs to manage enterprise applications
• Write unit and functional tests to ensure the quality of code written
• Debug issues, implement fixes, and update an on line production system (distributed system runs 24/7)

Basic Requirements:

• Computer Science BS degree or degree seeking individual
• 5-8 years' experience in Software Development
• 5-8 years' experience programming in two different languages such as Python, Java, C++

Preferred Qualifications:

• Able to work in a GNU/Linux shell
• Highly motivated individual with demonstrated ability to work independently
• Experience writing unit test language appropriate methods such JUnit or PyUnit
• Ability to switch between multiple projects with limited transition time
• Likes to learn new technologies and techniques
• Experience with Distributed Systems
• Experience with Linux OS
• Good understanding of SQL
• Experienced in application development in Python
• Experienced using HTML5 technologies to build functional UIs
• Familiar with Python web service frameworks such as Django or Bottle
• Understanding of CDNs and how to write applications to leverage them to improve application scaling
• Familiar with using PostgreSQL
