Job Title: Oracle DBA with (DB2/Oracle/Sybase/SQL Server)

Location: McLean, VA

Duration:6 Months

RDMS  DBA: (DB2/Oracle/Sybase/SQL Server)

Senior-level Oracle DBA to support and maintain multiple versions of RDMS database systems on a variety of platforms. The position will work closely with the application DBA group, infrastructure groups, and business units in support of the databases.

Skills

• 5+ years of DBA Operations experience specifically with DB2/Oracle/Sybase/SQL Server..
• Regularly review space capacity and perform tasks to manage space usage through archiving or increasing disk space.
• Support EBS (RAC database and application) and Support Oracle database.
• Installation, Configuration, Upgrading and Patching of Oracle Server Software and related products.
• EBS Cloning.
• Develop and implement Archiving, backup and recovery strategies.
• Maintenance of Oracle Servers.
• Interact with application owners/developers and/or technical staff.
• Must document all the DR steps and validate the DR process.
