Job Description:
· Expert in Business Objects BO 4.1/XI 3.1/ 3.0.
· Installed and tested the BI4.0 application on sandbox/Dev/UAT.
· Working with server teams to provide them with list of specifications need to build the servers for BO4.1.
· Worked with Developers to consolidate the Business Objects repository before migrating to BO4.1.
· Effectively administered and supervised the Business Objects (SAP BI) environment by monitoring/granting permissions and rights to users for viewing, creating and publishing reports.
· Knowledge about Business Objects Security Model and experience with Business Objects Security Implementation (Row level, Object level, Access Level etc).
· Lead the design, development and implementation of Business Intelligence Solutions. Perform Unit testing after the upgrade
· Work with client users to gather, refine, and document report requirements with regard to new development, enhancements, or modification of existing functionality
· Responsible for understanding, in collaboration with business representatives, how different data elements are used by the business in production systems, and how those data elements then should be reflected in reports. Along with the ability to translate raw data and information sources into practical, usable reports and other vehicles that support decision-making.
· Ability to work independently with little direct supervision effectively in a highly complex, entrepreneurial and (often) high-pressure environment.
Qualifications :
· 5+ years of experience in overall Business Objects BI 4.0, BO XI 3.x
· Experience in reporting using entire suite of Business Objects (Web Intelligence, Crystal reports, dashboards)
· 5+ years in the area of Business Objects reporting on top of multiple databases, Oracle, SAP ECC, SAP BW and non-SAP sources, OLTP/OLAP datasources,
· Functional knowledge and reporting experience in Finance, Logistics within ERP
· Excellent communication Skills and leadership qualities
· Drive user requirements, run workshops and be a user champion
· Process oriented and expert in design, document of data modeling, reporting and user/functional specification documents
· Data analysis, Data modeling and Performance tuning experience
· Knowledge in BO Administration and User Security
· Self-learner, leading projects with aggressive timelines and with extended teams
