Role : Cloud Security Architect

 

Duration: 6 months minimum

Location: San Francisco, CA

 

Job Description: 

·         Evangelist for cloud services and architectures

·         Communicates and collaborates continuously with customer to freely design best of breed architectures using public, private and hybrid cloud solutions.  Has expert knowledge in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings from the major Cloud Service Providers (CSP)

·         Designs secure cost effective architecture solutions that decouple legacy corporate capabilities into elastic, scalable container based micro services

 

Minimum Required Skills:

• Knowledge and experience with some of the major CSPs (AWS, Azure, IBM & Google) – IBM BLUEMIX is critical
• Experience designing IaaS, PaaS and SaaS architectures
• Knowledge of Service Registries and Cloud brokers
• Experience designing secure scalable, elastic architectures
• Experience architecting in enterprises using Agile methodologies
• Understands decoupled and micro services architectures
• Understands Stateful and Stateless services
• Knowledge of web services technologies- Restful services
• Understanding of distributed systems, databases and search systems
• Has architected J2EE Platforms: JBOSS, WebLogic and  Apache Tomcat
• Strong focus on business outcomes
• Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders

·         Familiar with some of the following technologies and tools:

• Architecture design Tools such as MS Visio Professional (with Amazon and Azure stencils)
• Programming and Scripting Languages:  C++, Java, PHP, .NET, ASP, Ruby, Python, Java, Go, Perl, Powershell, JavaScript and nide.js
• Utility Compute Web Services:  AWS, VPC, EC2, EBS, SQS, SWF, SNS, RDS, DynamoDB, RedMine and DMS
• Container and Micro Services Stacks:  Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher and Mesosphere
• Planning Tools: JIRA, GitHub, Stash, Redmine and Rocket Chat  
• Integration Tools: Jenkins, Eclipse, Intelliu, Nexus and Bamboo
• Testing Tools:  Jenkins, HP Fortify, Serenity, Swagger, Cucumber, Selenium, SonarQube, JUNite, Pyunit, Open SCAP and Sensu
• Deployment Tools:  Chef, Puppet, CFEngine, Ansible, Fabric, and GIT, GitHub and Git Lab
• Search Technologies: Lucene and Elasticsearch
• Relational Databases: Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres SQL, AWS RDS, Django, Express.js

·         NoSQL databases: Cassandra, MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB
