Job Title: AWS Administrator

Location: Princeton, NJ 08540

Duration: 9+ Months

 

Visa copy required at the time of submission 

Face to face required for this role

Responsibilities:

1.       Designing and building infrastructure in AWS using EC2, EBS, ELB, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation.

2.       Linux and Windows server and storage architecture, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

3.       AWS ELB and/or Netscaler Load Balancer configuration and tuning.

4.       Designing technical solutions to meet business objectives.

5.       Documentation and diagraming of AWS server and storage infrastructure.

6.       24x7 on-call duties.

 

Qualifications:

1.       Hands-on experience with AWS in a production environment.

2.       5+ years of RHEL/CentOS and/or Amazon Linux and or Windows server administration experience.

3.       2+ years of storage administration experience.

4.       Familiarity with the AWS console and CLI.

5.       Understanding of storage technologies including NFS, RAID, Fiber Channel, Storage Area Networks.

6.       Understanding of TCP/IP networking.

7.       Storage administration and storage architecture experience with AWS S3/EBS, Netapp, 3Par, and/or Hitachi.

8.       Experience with and knowledge of server software such as Apache, PHP, Active Directory, Wiki, and SSH.

9.       Ability to develop and troubleshoot shell scripts using Bash, PowerShell, and/or Python.

10.   Familiarity with JSON, CloudFormation, and IAM policies.

11.   Understanding of the AWS SDKs and/or APIs a plus.

12.   Experience with configuration management (Chef, Puppet, Opsworks, etc.) a plus.

13.   Virtualization administration experience with VMware ESX a plus.

14.   Experience with Azure and/or Google Cloud a plus.

15.   Experience with system monitoring tools such as Zabbix, MRTG, Nimbus, Groundwork, and SNMP a plus.

16.   Experience with database server administration such as Oracle, MySQL, or MSSQL a plus.
