- Work under the guidance/supervision of client's ETL Manager/Lead
- Hands on experience on developing data mapping in Cognos, build the data transformation logic, build custom mappings if required
- Analyze source system data, suggest the templates for data collection
- Apply data analysis, data cleansing, data matching, exception handling
- Develop solutions for a large project or several small to medium size projects with limited complexity using standard methodology
- Integrates multiple technologies and applications within a specific customer solution
Qualifications:
- Overall Data Management technologies experience: 4 to 5 Years
- Should be an expert in Cognos with more than 4 years of experience
- Should have experience in multiple Cognos project as ETL developer
- Should have 5 years of experience in Data Modeling / Data warehouse Designing
- Hands on experience in SQL and also should have worked in multiple databases (Oracle / DB2 / SQL Server etc...)
- Expertise in Cognos related Data Integration, Data Quality and Data explorer
- Should have good client management skills and have worked at client locations

POSITION SUMMARY:
Located in Secaucus, NJ, the Sr. Developer/Systems Analyst position provides development and support for Red Prairie, WMS, and related applications. Also, provides Level 2/3 support services including analysis, diagnosis, development of warehouse management, distributed order management and interface applications, analyze data processing problems to implement and improve company's computer systems, analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, and workflow.
Minimum Requirements
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Experience with more than one of the following:
· SQL Server SQL 2010-2014
· Visual Basic .Net
· API & XML Web Services
· HTML, JavaScript web design
· IBM,CDC and Data Stage
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical Skills:
· Design, development, implementation and maintenance of company's Applications (warehouse management, logistics, Core Merchandising System.
· Assume primary design/coding responsibility for more than one functional subsets of system software. (Application, Reporting, Integration).
· Proven experience in life cycle application development with the ability to generate application development policies, standards and procedures.
· Develop utilities, procedures, and documentation upon customer requirements
· Maintain application release control (version control).
· Application installation and upgrade, including third party integration and hardware configuration.
· Working with varying software development and deployment packages, Radio Frequency Terminals, Specialty Printers is a plus.
Interpersonal Skills:
· Able to work effectively both alone and in a collaborative team environment.
· A "quick study". Able to quickly understand requirements to compose flexible technical design specifications.
· Works well "under pressure". Able to assist Project Leader and project members with integration testing, debugging and installation of application and systems software
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
B.S. in Computer Information Systems or other technical discipline
4+ years software development and troubleshooting required.

Job description below:
· Development and management of a project plan in MS Project including generating resource plan, resource schedules, critical path and milestone plan. Create a baseline project plan and create project plan comparisons to identify the root cause of delays and develop strategies to maintain the project deadlines.
· Manage stakeholder communication and expectation management.
· Generate weekly Project status report, conduct weekly project status meeting, maintain risk register and update program office.
· Review the progress of SaaS custom application development, challenge progress, identify risks and issues, work with development team to determine mitigation plans and validate the development progress.
· Provides assistance and consulting to project team members to ensure that milestones and deadlines are met. Evaluates current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects and level of efforts.
· Testing Strategy and Plan development and monitoring.
· Review project documentation and ensure client documentation standards are met.
· Oversee the development of end to end business processes and reconcile to the existing data flows.
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Management or related field with emphasis in IT
· Master of Science in Information Systems a plus
· Five or more years of business management or related experience
· Five or more year of Microsoft Project experience
· Project Management Experience implementing custom applications
· 15 plus years SDLC process experience using Agile Methodology
· 10 plus years of project management experience in the IT environment
· Five plus years' experience developing custom SaaS applications
