Job Details:
Title: Technical Writer
Location: Meriden, CT
Duration: 2 Months Contract
Responsibilities
· Overall Purpose: Create and maintain systems documentation, simulations, online help, presentation decks, web based training (WBT). Roles & Responsibilities:
· 1) Captures screen images for courseware using Paint Shop Pro, SnagIt, or other relevant software.
· 2) Works with subject matter experts as needed to create technically accurate documents.
· 3) Self-edit and proof courseware for quality, consistency, and adherence to standards.
· 4) Submits courseware to department editor for editing and implement changes.
Additional Responsibilities
· Experience writing technical documentation and admin guides for identity and access management security systems, mobile applications and/or Ecommerce websites a plus but not required.
Must Have Skills
· Microsoft Office Suites: 3 Yrs.
· Technical writing: 4 Yrs.
· Visio: 3 Yrs.
· Adobe Captivate: 3 Yrs.
· Adobe RoboHelp: 3 Yrs.
· Bachelor Degree
· IBMS simulation Producer: 3 Yrs.
· Lectora: 3 Yrs.
· Trivantis: 3 Yrs.
