Duration: 18 months
Phone/Skype interview to hire
Must haves:
• Scala
• Core Java (Java 8)
• JavaScript (any JS framework experience in React, Angular, or Node is a plus) – don't need to be an expert
Responsibilities:
• Build and scale high-performance, fault-tolerant distributed software systems
• Write well-reasoned, well-tested code to solve complex problems
• Work across various teams to share technical direction and innovations
• Conduct design and code reviews
• Code using primarily Scala, Java, and JavaScript
Requirements:
• Exposure to web infrastructure, architectural patterns, and scalable production quality systems
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Demonstrated commitment to technical excellence
• Experience with software engineering best practices (testing, performance analysis, Continuous Delivery)
• Experience with functional programming a plus
