Title: DevOps Lead /Architect
Client: Sony Pictures Entertainment
Duration:  6+months with possible extension
Location: Culver City, CA.
Pay rate: $75/hr
Locals preferred, if not that's fine

Job Description
Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) is seeking a Lead / Architect DevOps  in the Southern California area, to lead the DevOps team within SPE, building and providing Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), and automated Configuration Management (CM) engineering activities, analysis and coordination.

Job Responsibilities
Work with a team of DevOps engineers in automating and streamlining processes through the development of frameworks, implementation of standards, processes and controls in release and deployment activities
Work collaboratively with globally distributed project and operational teams to ensure consistent approaches to program delivery
Serve as the subject matter expert for CI/CD/CM tools
Identify, analyze, coordinate, and resolve environment and infrastructure needs
Architect and implement metrics required to increase transparency in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Perform research and development into commercial and open source software and hardware solutions needed to support the Security Development branch
Provide user training and troubleshooting for software solutions
Prepare and present briefings on software solutions tailored to varying levels of technical expertise
Update job knowledge by studying start-of-the-art DevOps tools, CI/CD/CM trends and best practices with an eye toward improving existing solutions

Job Qualifications
Minimum 10+years of technical experience in DevOps engineering
Minimum 4-5 years technical team leadership
Minimum of 3-2 years of experience in information security and/or computer science
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, applied information technology or related subject matter
Demonstrated experience creating and/or maintaining continuous integration/continuous deployment/automated configuration management systems
Strong background in Linux/Unix administration
Strong understanding of Agile and the software development life cycle, specifically design, debugging, testing and documentation
Working knowledge of Puppet, git and GitHub, Ansible, Jenkins, CAST, SonarQube, Selenium, AWS environment, Junit. WhiteHat, CloudBees, Liquibase, Docker, AppDynamics, Splunk, Nexus, JIRA, PAAS platforms or similar.
Excellent detail-oriented organizational and communications skills
Familiarity with information security
Detail-oriented, quick learner with the ability to multi-task
General familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, PHP, Ruby, Python)
Eligible to work in the USA
