Programmer/Developer Analyst Lead
This Report Lead position will be responsible for the plan, design, build, test and deployment of the reporting solution through go-live. The worker must have extensive knowledge of what is required to change the architecture of an Oracle Reporting data warehouse to most effectively utilize the available technologies to meet financial, management and operational reporting requirements. Additionally, the worker must have extensive experience in the design, build, test and deployment of an Oracle Reporting data warehouse. This position requires leadership, multi-tasking, exercising initiative and independent judgment.The worker should have a history of success leading reporting teams for Oracle Business Intelligence reporting applications using project management best practices.
MUST HAVE:
· 10+ years' experience as an Oracle Reporting Lead for multiple large Oracle Financial reporting projects including:
o Experience in designing, building, testing, and deploying Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) solutions with Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) for PeopleSoft Financials, Supply Chain
o Experience documenting requirements, and tracking the test completion of requirements throughout project SDLC lifecycle
o Experienced defining and implementing solutions to meet requirements to retain historic transactional data, and align the historic data with future financial transactional data
o Experience writing detailed reporting Functional Design Documents (FDDs), Technical Design Documents (TDD), build, unit test
o Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization, including collaborating effectively on diverse teams
o Experience with Microsoft Suite (Projects, Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
o Ability to alter project direction based on Project Manager or Executive Sponsor direction
· 8+ years' experience with:
o Defining Reporting Strategy to describe how existing OBIEE, OBIA, Essbase, and data warehouse would be modified to implement a Chart of Accounts change for financial transactions
o Designing and building data integrations to a data warehouse using ETL tools such as Informatica and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
o Data warehouse functional and technical design changes for data model, end-user reporting repository, and end-user reporting changes to meet business, functional and technical requirements
o Performing reporting System Test, Integration Test, and User Acceptance Test
· 5+ years' experience with:
o Conducting design sessions with subject matter experts and business process owners to meet business requirements
o Collecting and modifying Report Inventories to determine the data model required to support reporting requirements
o Designing, building, testing and deploying end-user security for Oracle Business Intelligence Applications
o Oracle Business Intelligence reporting application performance optimization considerations including design, performance test, performance monitoring, performance tuning, including ETL, and report generation
· 3+ years' public sector experience with a Utility or Energy Based company
· 3+ years' experience in designing, creating and overseeing data warehouse solutions with Maximo Work Management, Asset Management, and Inventory Management data
