Role:   JAVA Developer (Multiple openings)
Location: Deerfield, IL
Duration: 6+ months

 

Relevant Experience (Yrs):5+ Years of IT
 
Technical/Functional Skills:
Ability to define strategy for Customers in J2EE technologies (EJB, JSP and servelets).
Should be recognized as an industry leader in J2EE technology .
Must be able to conduct project reviews and play an active role in Design and architecture Governance.
Ability to create solutions and defend them with Customer as well as Project Architects.

 

Experience Required
Must have defined and implemented J2EE solutions or any of its sub-focus areas for more than one large MNC.
Must have experience working with multiple clients in the retail industry; and awareness of j2ee technology related needs and trends for such Clients is a must.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

Publishes and distributes the Technical Specification document and ensures proper sign-off on the document(s).  Also controls all changes through a formalized change request process
Co-ordinate with offshore team
Creates moderately complex models to identify, validate, document and system issues
Identifies options to address problems or issues, defines advantages and disadvantages of each option, and either selects from predefined solutions or recommends an innovative approach
 
Education:
Bachelor of Engineering; Masters degree preferred.
