{Job Junction} Jr VB.Net Developer ; Rate : $45/hr

Location                Anoke, MN

 

Duration : 6+Months

 

The selected candidate will write VB.Net code as a member of an application development team.  The candidate must be able to analyze business requirements, design solutions, write technical specifications, and write application code to enhance existing software applications.  Duties will include developing original and/or complex code.  Develops new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures.

 

 

Technical Qualifications:

·         5+ years of experience in programming VB.Net, ASP.Net, XML, WinForms, WebForms, and Web Services

·         5+ years of experience with Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server

·         2+ years of experience with SQL development; proven ability to read and write complex SQL queries

·         Proven ability to write complex code; including the planning of work from initiation through implementation while demonstrating the ability to meet project completion dates with acceptable levels of supporting documentation and software quality.

 

Soft Skills:

·         Ability to effectively communicate with individuals within all levels of technical and non-technical skills sets (i.e. Business Analysts, QA Analysts, and Project Managers)

·         Demonstrated ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment with the ability to multi-task and effectively manage expectations.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

·         Some understanding of the Agile Software Development methodology.
