Job Title:Java with Websphere Portal developer

Location:NYC

Duration:6 months

 

DESCRIPTION:

 

Performance Optimization and Tuning- Should be aware of best performing coding constructs in C, VB.NET

 

J2EE- Good understanding of Java EE 5 platform , Annotations, JPA, Dependency injection, EJB 3.0, Web services, JSF 1.2, JSP2.1, Servlet 2.5, JSTL 1.2 and the simpler packaging rules. Aware of JMX, JTA .Usage of right Design Patterns, proper user, session managements, should also be conversant with developing application with various presentation and persistence models, Performance optimizations, Caching. Should be able to design using J2EE technologies.

 

UML- Must be able to create detailed design using UML tool and ensure good amount of Tool generated code.   Technically guide the implementation team throughout the SDLC.

 

OOAD and Design Patterns- Jacobson,Booch, Rumbaugh OOAD methodologies .Theoretical knowledge of all the GOF design patterns. Abstract Factory, Builder, Factory Method, Prototype,Singleton, Adapter, Bridge, Composite, Decorator, Facade, Flyweight, Proxy,Chain of Responsibility, Command, Interpreter, Iterator, Mediator, Memento,Observer, State, Strategy, Template Method, Visitor

 

Portals-Portal certified, Convert design to implementation, Application Server and Message Queue (WAS/WMQ) products such as Portal, eCommerce, Integration and Experience of distributed platforms

 

IBM WebSphere Portal-IBM Websphere portal certified, Convert design to implementation, Application Server and Message Queue (WAS/WMQ) products such as Portal, eCommerce,Integration and Experience of distributed platforms
