Job Title: Android Developer
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: 3 Months + extendable
Project: The project is to develop Android/Smartphone native App for Verizon.com residential customers
Job Description:
To develop and maintain the Android mobile app for Verizon.com residential customers . Additionally should be able to –
• Architect, design and develop native app using Eclipse SDK
• Create and provide documents in support of the deliverable to include updated versions of design, process flow diagram, API specification, and error description
• Perform unit test and performance testing of the developed modules on Emulator and Mobile Devices
• Deployment process to Play Store, maintenance and support
Required Skills:
Minimum 3 years Android experience, 8 years of Java experience
• 2+ years experience with Android SDK/ Eclipse IDE
• 6+ years experience with Java /J2EE
• 5 years JS and JQuery
• Experience with XML, web services and web technologies
• Experience writing rich GUI's for the Android
• Strong experience detecting / correcting memory usage issues
• Knowledge of App store distribution process is preferred but not a must
Desired Skills: CSS, DHTML, Eclipse, Java and XSL/XSLT, C#, ASP.NET, .NET framework, Oracle, TFS Source Control
