POSITION SUMMARY:
The Salesforce Developer works collaboratively with a team supporting multiple applications on the Salesforce platform and manages complete software development life-cycle. The Developer will work closely with customers, business analysts and other team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis, design and development of quality technical solutions that must align with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software.
Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
Provide support of Salfesforce.com through troubleshooting, technical resolution, enhancement implementation, and best practices development.
Work on medium to large, varied and complex projects that require skill in multiple technical environments and knowledge in various business areas.
Work on one or more projects as a project team member or as a project lead.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related area.
7+ years of programming/systems analysis experience.
Must have at least 2+ years of experience on Salesforce customization, Force.com Design, Development and deployment.
Must have through understanding of the constraints of Salesforce.com with regard to APEX and processing
Experience configuring standard Salesforce.com CRM objects and modules including validation rules, formulas, record types and page layouts.
Strongly preferred programming experience: Visual force pages, Apex programming, Triggers, Reports and Dashboards.
Experience on Web services and Salesforce to .Net web service integration.
Must have strong SQL experience.
Must have strong Agile software experience.
Ability to be a self-starter in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Good judgment in technical assessments and problem solving abilities.
