Job Description
The software engineer will work as part of the client's implementation team. He will be responsible to design and develop programmatic data interfaces for healthcare application. The interface will consist of both inbound and outbound adapters and based on a wide range of technology (flat file batch processing, web services). The engineer will work individually or as part of a team, supporting one of more client engagements.
Skill Set
1) 7+ years of relevant system level software analysis, development, and integration experience using Java technology
2) High proficiency with J2EE. Experience working within complex custom-built Java-based frameworks
3) High proficiency with Oracle DBMS. SQL is a must. DBA and data modeling are a plus
4) Understanding of Internet concepts, such as protocols, security, etc
5) Working knowledge of Linux
6) Knowledge of Weblogic application server
7) Experience working in Services setup is a plus
8) Experience developing data feeds and data conversions is a plus
9) Experience working with commercial business workflow and/or ETL tools is a plus
10) Good knowledge of healthcare workflow, understanding of claims adjudication, benefit management and payers
11) Good communication skills
12) Understanding of Agile methodology
Educational Requirements-
A minimum of a Bachelor's required / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Biomedical or Computer Engineering preferred
