Role: - DATE MODELER (EDW)

 

Duration: - 3+ Years of Long Term Contract

Location: - Sacramento, CA

Job Description:

 

The EDW Data Modeler is a technical resource within the EDR Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team.  Reporting the EDW Architect, the team is responsible for the full design and modeling of the EDW databases.  The EDW is a mutli-tiered architecture involving staging, foundation and analytics data stores.  The modeling team provides design and implementation services in both logical and physical data modeling across all tiers. 

 

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in logical and physical modeling of normalized and denormalized data structures.

• Minimum of 5 years experience with enterprise data modeling tools such as Sybase Power Designer or InfoSphere Data Architect highly preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in the design of data management and data storage standards.

 

It is preferable to have significant experience with:

• Sybase PowerDesign

• IBM DB2 ESE V9.7

• IBM InfoSphere ESE V9.7

• IBM InfoSphere Change Data Capture

• IBM InfoSphere Data Stage

• IBM InfoSphere Information Analyzer

• IBM InfoSphere Quality Stage

• IBM InfoSphere Replication Server

• IBM InfoSphere Metadata Workbench
