Position: Recruiting Manager
Position Description:
Recruiting Manager manages teams of Recruiting Manager and Recruiters and assists the Recruiting
Head in running recruiting operations. Recruiting Managers are required to work a hard nightshift
from 6:30 PM IST to 3:30 AM IST.
Reports to: Recruiting Head
Responsibilities:
Client Management and Service Delivery
- Work closely with team leads to ensure client processes are followed and they receive high
- quality service.
- Work closely with head of recruiting and team leads to prepare client retention plan reports and
- develop client retention strategies.
- Ensure that client performance goals are monitored and recruiters achieve performance goals on
- their clients.
- Maintain adequate oversight on existing clients to consistently maintain a high level of
- performance.
- Anticipate client concerns, communicate the concerns with the head of recruiting and proactively
- resolve them.
- Handle resource allocation activities within the recruiting team in liaison with the head of
- recruiting and team leads.
- Ensures weekly recruiting operational reports are sent on time and are error free.
Operation Management
- Prepare staffing plan reports with head of recruiting.
- Ensure end of month management reports are mistake free and completed on time
- Ensure performance management program is successful in the recruiting team.
- Assist Head of Recruiting with managerial, strategic, and operational tasks.
- Is vigilant in seeking to simplify or eliminate unnecessary tasks and processes, and reduce
- bureaucracy.
- Provides unfiltered and accurate information to CEO and management team
- Ensure revenue and operational goals are met
Employee Management
- Develop shared understanding with recruiters by having regular conversations based on listening
- and two-way communications
- Consistently encourages innovation, trying new ideas for improvement, continuous learning and
- knowledge sharing
- Assign tasks and clients to recruiters based on their strengths
- Coach top performing employees and assists in grooming them for leadership positions.
- Coaches poor performing employees to improve their performance and makes difficult personnel
- decisions that are in the best interest of the company
- Conduct appraisals of recruiters in liaison with HCM and team leads and ensures compensation
- is based on pay for performance consistent with salary bands
- Mentor and work closely with Recruiting Managers on their individual skill development.
- Ensure recruiters receive high quality training to improve their skills and overall productivity.
- Work closely with team leads and HCM on planning leaves and employee grievances.
- Assist in hiring and retaining top performing Recruiters for the company.
- Ensure recruiting team develops a culture of accountability, pay-for-performance, and respect for
- all employees while maintaining a pleasant work environment
- Work closely with Human Capital Management to establish and implement skill assessment and
- development programs.
- Assist as required in preparing in Business and Financial plans to grow company's core International
- recruiting business.
- Ensure all recruiting employees understand and follow company policy and process.
- Conduct and participate in induction of new hires.
- Ensure recruiting teams and individual recruiters achieve predetermined operational metrics
- required to realize financial targets and continually improve performance.
Requirements (experience/skills):
- Minimum of four years of experience recruiting for American clients and knowledge of US
- contracting methods (W2, 1099, and corp-to-corp)
- Solid understanding of business practices of the US staffing industry and corporate recruiting
- departments
- Experience successfully working with and managing international clients
- Demonstrated abilities to lead teams to success and coach team members on their career
- development
- Ability to have productive "difficult conversations" with team members and resolve people
- problems
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise and
- mistake–free reports for US business executives
- Bachelor's degree or higher – technical or business discipline preferred
