LOCATION:  Parsippany, NJ

DURATION:  3+ Months

Job Description:  ASP/SQL DEVELOPER

 

POSITION SUMMARY: The ASP/SQL Developer will be responsible for reviewing a Change Specification for customer's system, estimating the technical work required, developing and testing the changes required, supporting QA and Acceptance testing, and deploying the changes to production. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Learn the customer's system

Review Change Specification produced by 3rd party vendor Estimate the effort and schedule required to implement the changes detailed in the Change Specification Implement the changes per the estimate and schedule Perform unit testing and integration testing Support QA /Acceptance testing Prepare application for deployment Document application and changes

 

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

5-10 years work experience

Hands on experience with SQL2000/2008, ASP, Windows server Hands on experience with user interfaces Experience with financial and accounting systems Experience in project planning Experience in technical writing Familiarity w/ Oracle 11/12 Financial

 

BUSINESS SKILLS

Strong communications skills

Experience working with end users

Experience with financial and accounting systems Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Degree in Finance/Accounting a plus.
