Position : Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Location : Atlanta
Rate : $700/ day
Visa : Any
Duration : 6 Months

Job Description:

· Builds, modifies, reviews and analyzes software systems through code development, testing, debugging and documentation.

· Performs complex systems analysis.

· Provides production support for existing software within the areas covered by the role.

· Interfaces with business leaders and stakeholders to understand the business and accompanying needs.

· Prepares technical documentation.

· Researches problems discovered by QA and develop solutions to the problems.

· Coordinates with the Vendor/product support group for resolving issues

· Reports to a Team lead or manager.

· All other duties as assigned.

Experience Required:

· Proficient in Oracle 10/11 and PL-SQL, including the development of queries and stored procedures(A must), SQL Server 2005/2008- Must Have

· Understanding of securities/FX/derivatives processing. – Must Have

· Good analytical skills.

· Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.

· Excellent inter-personal, verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.

· Good understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.

· Demonstrated customer service skills required, including the ability to diffuse stressful or challenging situations.

· An aptitude for problem solving, crisis management and time management.

· Requires 8-10 years experience in the field or in a related area.

· Experience with any Ticket tracking too

The following experience is mandatory:

· Good Communications Skills.

· Strong Oracle development skills using PL/SQL.

· Good experience with any one asset class within the Capital Market domain. (eg Equities, Credit Derivatives, FX Derivatives, Interest Rates, Risks etc)
