TITLE: QA Lead with exp. on web based application

WORK LOCATION:  Menniapolis,MN

Will need Local to MN for Inperson interview.

Description:

QA Lead with minimum 8 years' experience required for web based application

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Experience testing in an Agile environment  (Version1 and Bugzilla experience a plus)
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Architects and Developers
• Ability to work with external vendors/teams
• Attends design and other reviews and walkthroughs to understand business requirements
• Translates business requirements into test requirements
• Develop and maintains test scenarios
• Creates and maintains test plans, cases/scripts,  traceability matrix and various testing checklists
• Creates new automated scripts and update existing automated scripts.
• Manages test effort against project schedule
• Develops and executes functional, integration and manual and automation regression testing for assigned projects
• Creates and coordinates test data across platforms
• Create, verify, and close defects based on defect tracking process.
• Resolves application discrepancies with technical personnel and retests as required
• Performs post-implementation validation
• Reviews test results with project stakeholders
• Obtains business sign off on the test effort
• Reports test status and issues to manager in a timely fashion
• Identifies test cases for re-use on future projects
• Assists team members as needed.
• Resource assignment/oversight, and UAT support.

 

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance methodologies and application of those methodologies
• Possess the drive and attitude to bring new ideas to the table
• Outstanding communication skills (English) – formal verbal and written communications, and with the personality and authority to communicate professionally, effectively and sensitively with a wide range of senior management, users and IT personnel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance priorities from multiple projects and release schedules
• Experience working on web based and mobile/tablet applications
• Knowledge of Test Automation Tools (QTP strongly preferred, Selenium desired)
• Knowledge of Oracle SQL

• Knowledge of XML
• Knowledge of web services testing (soapUI preferred)
• Experience with integrated systems (understand the big picture architecture and messaging).
