Role: Consultant (ADF) /ADF Consultant

Location: Englewood, CO

Duration: Contract

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work hands-on and provide the technical knowledge in the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of the enterprise information systems.
• Analyze information system requirements, create designs, and provide documentation by utilizing DISH specified tools and methodologies.
• Provide information system technology solutions by adhering to prescribed life-cycle tools and methodologies.
• May provide a variety of services ranging from day-to-day support, maintenance, design, development, and trouble-shooting to improve, advance, or simplify business processes.
• May provide leadership or project management within application development teams to deliver coordinated software solutions.
• May define standards and procedures; Refine methods and techniques for information modeling and best practices for application software development and deployment.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B. S) in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Six plus years hands on experience with implementing and maintaining Oracle based applications with a minimum of 4 years Java development experience.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Applicants must be team oriented and work well with end users and other IT team members.
• Very strong PL/SQL, SQL Tuning, Proficient in Unix shell commands and shell scripting, Java / Application Server experience (WebLogic),JDeveloper 11g- Oracle ADF 11g: Business Components, Data Controls, Bindings, Page Definitions, Task Flows, Regions, Layouts & Rich Faces Components
