They are looking for a really strong SAS person – they need some kind of mix of SAS development and SAS administration skills.
If they are a strong developer that has any exposure to administration, that's fine.

Requirements:
Must have experience with SAS Enterprise Guide application V4.3 or greater, SAS Management Console and SAS Web Report Studio.
Must know how to use the application and support user base.
Advance knowledge of SAS coding in SAS 9.2 or greater either using SAS application or Unix environment.
Must understand how to read and be comfortable with modifying, developing, supporting advance SAS macros, codes, and modules.
Must be familiar with working in Unix Solaris environment – creating and editing (VI) scripts and cron scheduling, running SAS on Unix.
Must know how to read Unix and SAS scripts.
Experience with SAS administration - managing and modifying metadata server setup/structure, creating new data sources, data libraries, and user groups.
Must have working experience in UNIX shell scripting.
