Job Role: Oracle DBA
Location : Phoenix, AZ Local Only
Duration: 12+ Months
Job Qualifications
•Minimum of 3-5 years administering Oracle Database Platforms 9.x or higher, including installation, and setup.
•Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with configuring and supporting Oracle in a RAC in a production environment
•Hands-on experience upgrading Oracle databases in production from one version to another (i.e., 9.2 to 11.2)
•Minimum 1-2 years hands on experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager for Performance Monitoring, Tuning and Job handling.
• Advanced experience in Sparc/ X86 environment
• Exadata/ Weblogic middle tier required
• Expert experience in Oracle 11g/10g.
• Expert experience in Unix Shell scripting.
• Advanced experience in OEM.
• Advanced experience in Oracle RAC.
• Expert experience in Data Center Migration
Knowledge and experience in implementing Oracle security best practices.
•Proficient in PL/SQL to review developer's code for functionality and efficiency.
•Experience in designing, documenting and deployment of logical and physical database schemas and objects.
•Minimum 3 years in RMAN backup and recovery.
•Must be able to work well in a team environment and assist in mentoring staff.
•Must have effective communication skills.
•Solaris experience is a plus.
•Oracle DataGuard/Active DataGuard is a plus.
