JOB DESCRIPTION:
Looking for exceptional mid-level to senior software engineers to help bring a revolutionary new .NET based cloud computing technology to market. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of various aspects of a high performance distributed computing platform as well as interfacing with existing technology partners, collaborating with internal development teams, and working with our QA and IT teams to deliver projects on time, on-budget and on-specification. You will be immersed in a collaborative, innovative, and technically challenging environment with opportunities to lead, facilitate, and coordinate through all phases of the software development lifecycle. The right candidate is a fearless, self-directed, resourceful problem solver who has a passion for their work, the wisdom earned from experience, and the pride and attention to detail of a craftsman. COMMON REQUIREMENTS:
· BA/BS degree
· 5+ years of software development using C# and .NET
· Deep experience creating and using Tiered Service Oriented Architectures
· Good experience coding for multi-threaded applications and environments
· Working knowledge of Presentation/Web Layer (WCF, Web Services, Handlers, REST, ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, WPF, XAML)
· Rock solid grasp of SDLC
· Strong OO knowledge and practices
· Working knowledge of UML, Design Patterns, and Agile philosophy
· Superior communication skills
COMMON OPTIONAL DESIRED SKILLS:
· Experience with Java and *nix based environments.
· SQL or OODB experience
· Cassandra, Hadoop, Map-Reduce, Big Table or any other cloud experience a HUGE plus!!
ADMINISTRATION UX REQUIREMENTS:
· Rock solid Presentation/Web Layer experience
DEVELOPER TOOLS REQUIREMENTS:
· Rock solid UX experience (WPF, XAML, WinForms etc.)
· Good working experience writing utilities, installers and patches, click-once deployments
· VS2010 add-in experience a plus
· Windows scripting and power-shell experience a plus
· Code obfuscating, anti-reverse engineering, license lock experience a plus
SERVER PLATFORM REQUIREMENTS:
· Rock solid threading
· Deep experience creating high load, high performance SOA
· Extensive WCF experience
· Extremely competent in performance optimizations and debugging
· Working knowledge of TCP, UDP and SNMP
· Decent working knowledge of the Windows SDK and OS
