| Business Analyst (Salesforce.com Case Management) The Business Analyst will report to the Information Services (IS) department manager and serve as the liaison between IS and Tech Support to define business requirements for a given solution team. The Business Analyst will need to develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the needs from the business and technical perspective, while working closely with the clients and technical teams to capture business requirements and see them through implementation. The Business Analyst will have a minimum of a Bachelor degree in computer science or a technology related field. Other Bachelor degrees will be considered. This person will have a minimum of 3 years experience in building and specifying mission critical business applications.
Analyst Duties:
· Customer-to-client contract exposure (domestic or international) · Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, business analysis, task and workflow analysis · Evaluate gathered information, identify and reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract general understanding from low-level information, and distinguish wants from true needs · Proactively communicate and collaborate with clients and technical teams to prioritize requirements, evaluate potential solutions, define a proposed solution, propose quick fixes, and develop model business processes · Create and revise the following analysis artifacts and deliverables as needed: Business Requirements, Functional Requirements, Use Cases, Business Rules, Business Process Models · Successfully engage in multiple, simultaneous initiatives · Work independently with clients to define concepts as per direction of project managers · Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions and how they will successfully execute their plans Collaborate on integration and acceptance testing Skills:
· Experience in database solution migration or integration · Contact Center experience in any analytical role for best practices · Must possess strategic planning experience · Specific experience in Salesforce.com Case Management is required · Strong process-driven analysis skills and background in various requirement elicitation methods · Strong facilitation skills – Must be able to elicit requirements from various personalities across organization boundaries · Proven experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholders · Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with business units – Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with clients, team members, and management · Strong understanding of technical jargon and ability to communicate it in layman's terms · Strong ability to analyze and document complex business processes · Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks · Must be able to solve problems and to make effective decisions under pressure |
