Job Description:
· Develop and test integrations to/from the Workday HCM and Payroll Modules using established Workday tools, processes/procedures, and best practices.
Core responsibilities:
· Support the design / development of a scalable SFTP integration hub, which will act as a data intermediary between our internal/external systems and the Workday solution.
· The SFTP hub will: accepts files from dozens of disparate internal and external systems loads files to the Workday HRIS platform on a scheduled basis accepts dozens of data extracts from the Workday HRIS platform
· Allows systems to connect/consume the extracted Workday HRIS data For data sources in scope, analyze source data/file structures, technical metadata, profile source data and develop data mapping and transformation rules and detailed designs based on system and business requirements.
Additional Detail:
· Assist in the collection of technical metadata supporting the implementation.
· Utilize automation tools to schedule, execute, and monitor jobs
· Design, test, and debug data flow plans to populated data sources
· Develop and execute, in conjunction with the ETL Architect (Informatica)
· Implement audit, balance and controls per business requirements
· Implement upper and lower control limits as required in the business requirements
· Design and code integration functionality in accordance with standards and architectural guidelines
· Execute unit test plans and document results and discrepancies
· Prepare applicable application supporting documentation
· Supports new integrations and production data loads after implementation
· Tests data loads after system upgrades
· Assist in researching and resolving data issues uncovered during development/testing
Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
· 7+ years of data analysis experience
· Knowledge of data flow architectures
· Experience with
· ETL tools, data conversion, and scheduling tools
· Experience with Workday tools (iLoad, Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Report Writer) is desired
· Experience with SaaS
Competencies:
· Ability to dialogue clearly and effectively with stakeholders, testers, and developers
· Ability to work through opposing views, reach consensus and support understanding
· Ability to thoroughly document technical specifications
· Able to learn through online courses as well as hands-on experience
· Ability to work independently
· Fluent in Technical Architecture practices
