JOB TITLE    :  LAMP Administrator
Location        :  Manhattan, NY
Duration       :  6+ Months
Rate               :  Market
 
LAMP Administrator (Linux, Apache, mySql, Perl/Python)

 

The candidate have exposure to various technologies and be expected to work on several configurations for various projects. This is a role that will allow the candidate to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and focus on various technologies including Ruby on Rails. This is an opportunity for a candidate to grow and advance their exposure to networking/ security technologies.

 

In order to be successful, the candidate must have the following expertise including:
LAMP System Administration, LAMP * Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/ Perl/ Python
Extensive knowledge of LAMP configuration and Ruby on Rails
Knowledge of Suse Linux (preferably vs 11, pack One)
Experience with Operating System deployment
Ability to work in an autonomous environment
Some exposure to production QA environments
Strong communication skills - liaise senior management and interact with internal and external clients.
